Marriage

 

"The matrimonial covenant, by which a man and woman establish between themselves a partnership of the whole of life, is by its nature ordered toward the good of the spouses and the procreation and education of offspring; this covenant between baptized persons has been raised by Christ the Lord to the dignity of a sacrament."

Arrangements for weddings must be made at least six months in advance of the wedding and prior to setting a firm date. 

 

This will allow sufficient time for the couple to complete the required FOCCUS (Facilitating Open Couple Communication, Understanding & Study) survey, to attend the pre-marriage programs and to prepare a proper celebration of the sacrament.
